The Human Resources Manager will be a motivated, thoughtful, results-oriented, self-starter responsible for leading all aspects of human resources. HR Manager Job Description:
The Human Resources Manager will be a motivated, thoughtful, results-oriented, self-starter responsible for leading all aspects of human resources. This includes recruiting, on-boarding, retention, engagement, employee relations/investigations, training and development, benefits, compensation & payroll, policy development and regulatory compliance.
What you will do as the HR Manager:
- Drive all talent acquisition activities for hiring by fully understanding hiring manager needs and delivering an effective interviewing, selection and on-boarding process
- Analyze HR data to determine root causes of turnover, make recommendations on actions needed, and involve leadership in solutions
- Ensure employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved
- Responsible for effectively maintaining all personnel records.
- Respond to unemployment and other government/financial inquiries regarding employment
- Facilitate communication and function of employee benefit programs, including open enrollment
- Provide counsel to employees regarding human resources policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance and support with company guidelines, employment law, and company culture
- Follow internal processes for bi-weekly payroll processing. Â Maintains payroll records and responds to payroll-related inquiries
- Processes Worker’s Compensation claims.  Maintains OSHA 300 logs and yearly 300A forms
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- 4+ years of human resource management experience
- A result-oriented individual who assumes ownership of his/her work with a strong sense of urgency, excellent organizational skills & attention to detail, ability to follow up and execute quickly and efficiently
- A confident communicator (both verbally and in writing), proactive and approachable
- Working knowledge in all areas pertinent to the management of all HR functions including compensation, staffing, employee involvement, EEO/AAP, safety training and policy development
