HR Process Specialist
Job Description
- Worksite Location: Remote
- Compensation: $45.00 per hour
- Analyze, document, and improve HR workflows (onboarding, benefits, performance, etc.)
- Collaborate with SMEs to map current-state processes and define future-state improvements
- Identify and close gaps in workflows, handoffs, and accountability
- Ensure HR processes meet internal policy, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with Compliance and Training teams on processes unique to residential care (e.g., biannual DMV checks, licensing, and care-related documentation)
- Conduct business readiness assessments and develop implementation plans
- Create and polish SOPs and reference documentation for new and improved HR processes
- Support adoption of changes by training managers and employees
- Recommend improvements to streamline data flow and reduce inefficiencie
- Track process-related KPIs (e.g., onboarding completion, time to hire, compliance audits)
- 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, project coordination, or process improvement
- Experience working in a compliance-heavy or healthcare/residential care environment is a plus
- Strong analytical, process mapping, and project coordination skills
- Experience working with HRIS/ATS/scheduling platforms (CHR, Jazz HR, When I Work or similar)
- Familiarity with HR compliance in highly regulated industries (healthcare, residential services, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines independently
- Experience writing and implementing SOPs and processing documentation
