- Worksite Location: St. Cloud, MN (hybrid)
- Compensation: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
What you’ll do as the Payroll Specialist:
- Follow payroll procedures and ensuring that employees are appropriately compensated within all federal and state regulations
- Ensure employee wages are paid in accordance with all applicable federal, state, local/provincial regulations, and collective bargaining agreements
- Ensure employee payroll deductions are properly calculated and deducted (benefits, wage garnishments, taxes)
- Responsible for assigned payroll process and data accuracy, including upload file preparation and balancing
- Audit all preview payroll reports for anomalies; identifies and addresses issues within the data set
- Partner with internal and external business partners to test new functional system enhancements, system updates and integrations
- Provide Excel analytics and reporting, ad-hoc and scheduled
- Deliver excellent customer service by providing accurate and meaningful answers to employee wage, and tax inquiries
- Maintain payroll record retention for all edits and adjustments
What you’ll bring to the Payroll Specialist role:
- 3+ years of progressive payroll experience
- Experience with large platform payroll applications such as ADP and (Ultimate) UKG Pro
- Previous corporate payroll experience required
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and other MS office applications
