Sales & Account Management Associate Job Description:
As the Sales & Account Management Associate, your primary focus will be to understand existing customer needs and link them to product and service strategies. You will be responsible for upselling and cross-selling to deliver top-line revenue growth, developing and executing competitive sales plans and managing portfolio mix while maintaining strong business relationships across your accounts.
What you’ll do as a Sales & Account Management Associate:
- Upselling and Cross-selling analytical and microbiology testing tailored for the food industry to existing customers
- Identify, qualify, and grow relationships with mid and top-tier clients
- Create and conduct effective presentations that identify customers' business problems, the effects of the problem, and solutions to their problems
- Responsible for managing all client communications to ensure customer satisfaction and support with any service-related issues that result in escalation
- Own large and specialty projects for the account
- Maintain a deep understanding of all of services and capabilities and apply them to customer conversation and needs
- Maintain strong collaboration with Sales and Customer Service to perform QBRs and support sales initiatives within assigned accounts
- Provide temporary customer service support when needed
What you’ll bring to the Sales & Account Management Associate role:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in business, communications, or science-related field
- 2-3+ years of experience in a sales or business development role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Constant Contact and Salesforce
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, and business management skills
