<strong>About the Role</strong><br>
We are partnering with an industry-leading manufacturer of consumer and industrial products to hire a Buyer to support a fast-paced production environment. This role sits close to the factory floor and works hands-on with suppliers, engineering, and operations teams to ensure materials and components meet expectations for quality, cost, and delivery.<br>
This is a highly collaborative, casual environment. Success in this role requires comfort working directly with production teams and suppliers rather than spending the day isolated at a desk.

<strong>Job Description</strong><br>
The Buyer is responsible for managing and developing the supply base to support current production and new product initiatives. This role plays a key part in cost management, supplier performance, and early supplier involvement in product development.<br>
<strong>Core Responsibilities include:</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Manage supplier performance related to quality, delivery, cost, and technical capability
&#9;<li>Own purchase pricing and total acquisition cost for outsourced components, including identifying and implementing cost-reduction opportunities
&#9;<li>Conduct make-versus-buy analysis to support sourcing strategies
&#9;<li>Prepare, issue, and evaluate RFQs and supplier proposals
&#9;<li>Support new product development from concept through production launch
&#9;<li>Guide supplier selection for new programs and facilitate early supplier involvement in design development
&#9;<li>Identify new product and process technologies and introduce innovative suppliers to the organization
&#9;<li>Lead supplier negotiations and resolution of quality, delivery, and cost issues, including corrective action plans
&#9;<li>Coordinate and communicate new component releases and engineering changes with suppliers
&#9;<li>Monitor supplier capacity, lead times, and overall readiness to support production schedules
&#9;<li>Expedite supplier deliveries as required to support manufacturing needs
&#9;<li>Submit requisitions for tooling expenditures in accordance with internal procedures
</ul>

&#9;<li>Highly collaborative and informal culture; frequent engagement with cross-functional teams is expected

<strong>Qualifications</strong><br>
<strong>Required Qualifications </strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related technical field
&#9;<li>4+ years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, planning, or a related supply chain role
&#9;<li>Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functionality
&#9;<li>Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
&#9;<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
&#9;<li>Comfortable working in a blue-collar shop or factory floor setting and collaborating closely with operations teams
&#9;<li>Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
</ul>
<strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Production or manufacturing background
&#9;<li>Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or other Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems
&#9;<li>APICS CPIM and/or ISM CPM/AP certifications
&#9;<li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
&#9;<li>Experience with MRP systems and web-based business systems
</ul>

<br>Our client, a large and rapidly growing national insurance brokerage and consulting firm, is seeking a Project Manager to support its Mergers & Acquisitions portfolio. This role aligns closely with an Account Managerâlevel profile and focuses on managing a book of business primarily supporting Private Equityâbacked transactions, with some exposure to Employee Benefits. The position operates in a fast-paced environment and requires strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.<br>

<strong>Job Description</strong><br>
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of assigned projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to support M&A-related initiatives within commercial insurance operations.<br>
Key responsibilities include:

<ul>
&#9;<li>Leading the coordination and execution of multiple small to large projects simultaneously
&#9;<li>Managing project scope, timelines, costs, deliverables, and cross-functional resources
&#9;<li>Creating and maintaining project implementation plans, including defining data requirements and reviewing or scrubbing data as needed
&#9;<li>Communicating project status through regular updates, including system testing and data quality reviews
&#9;<li>Maintaining current and accurate project planning documentation
&#9;<li>Preparing data and financial reports to ensure accurate and timely communication to management
&#9;<li>Monitoring and participating in quality control efforts across department projects
&#9;<li>Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities
&#9;<li>Ensuring compliance with agency management system data standards and maintaining data integrity
&#9;<li>Performing additional duties as assigned
</ul>
This role requires minimal travel, estimated at approximately 10% annually.

&#9;<li>Bachelorâs degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
&#9;<li>1â3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a strong focus on Employee Benefits
&#9;<li>Experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equityârelated accounts
&#9;<li>General working knowledge of Employee Benefits
&#9;<li>Prior experience working with a group insurance carrier or benefits brokerage firm
&#9;<li>Active insurance license with the ability to meet continuing education requirements
&#9;<li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
&#9;<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data clearly

&#9;<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
&#9;<li>Demonstrated ability to accept constructive feedback and adapt quickly
&#9;<li>Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
&#9;<li>Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
