Chief Financial Officer

- Worksite Location: Willmar, MN
What you’ll do as the Chief Financial Officer:
- Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses
- Develop and report on financial performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
- Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use in strategic business planning; coordinate the annual planning with the Senior Leadership Team
- Conduct financial analyses to support the companies’ operations and operational decision making
- Manage company cash flow and oversee cash planning ensuring adequate availability of working capital to achieve strategic goals
- Oversee all financial operations including financial planning, budgeting, financial and costing functions, cash management and audit
- Provide the status of the organizations’ financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting on key financial metrics and regularly reporting to senior management and the board
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation and reporting to senior management, the board and external stakeholders
- Calculate service fees, analyzes trends, costs, revenues, commitments and obligations incurred with customers to predict future revenue and expenses
What you’ll bring to the Chief Financial Officer role:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, accounting, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in a Senior Finance position
- Strong knowledge in financial forecasting, accounting principles and financial data analysis.
- Clear understanding of GAAP
- Familiarity with current finance and accounting related laws and regulations
- Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software including ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written; skilled in the art of negotiation
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration between Finance, HR, IT and Operational Teams
- Extensive experience in the financial sector with a strong financial vision and insight
