We are seeking a seasoned UX design professional to lead the creation of engaging user experiences for web and mobile platforms within a global organization focused on food, agriculture, and sustainability. This role operates independently with minimal supervision, managing complex projects and influencing design standards across teams. You will coach other professionals and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure digital products meet user needs and align with business objectives.
Job Description
As a Senior UX Designer, you will translate complex user requirements into intuitive, visually appealing designs that adhere to brand guidelines and accessibility standards. You will lead design efforts from concept to execution, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. This position involves conducting user research, usability testing, and iterative design improvements based on feedback. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver responsive, user-friendly interfaces across multiple devices and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts.
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing; analyze data to inform design decisions.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to align user needs with business goals.
- Prepare user personas, journey maps, and documentation to support design processes.
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance with accessibility standards.
- Stay current with UX best practices and coach team members on design methodologies.
- Lead usability testing and apply findings to improve user satisfaction.
- Utilize advanced design and prototyping tools and user testing software.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- Pricing experience or working with merchants/tradersÂ
- Minimum of 4 years of UX design experience; typically 5+ years preferred.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong knowledge of usability testing methods and user research techniques.
- Ability to manage complex projects independently and coach other professionals.
- Experience designing responsive and accessible interfaces for web and mobile.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with digital technology trends and data-driven design.
- Knowledge of brand guidelines and accessibility compliance standards.
- Background in food, agriculture, or sustainability industries.
