This organization partners with a nationwide network of outfitters to deliver premium rental experiences and memorable outdoor adventures. Job Description
The Social Media & Email Specialist will manage social media channels and email marketing initiatives to strengthen brand presence, engage audiences, and support marketing objectives. This position requires creativity, strong execution skills, and the ability to build authentic relationships with partners and outfitters. Responsibilities include:
Social Media Management
- Develop and execute creative social media content aligned with brand voice.
- Monitor trends and collaborate with partners to create and repurpose content.
- Maintain consistent publishing cadence across platforms.
- Respond promptly to comments and messages, fostering community engagement.
- Track performance metrics and optimize based on insights.
- Design and deploy B2B and B2C email campaigns using existing templates.
- Create engaging email content and monitor performance (open rates, CTR).
- Align email timing with broader marketing initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to connect social, email, and site experiences.
- Suggest improvements to increase conversion from digital channels.
- Identify influencers and manage outreach opportunities (nice-to-have).
Qualifications
Required
- Associate degree in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience managing social media channels.
- 3+ years supporting email or site marketing initiatives.
- Strong experience with Klaviyo.
- Ability to provide a portfolio or work samples.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Comfortable working directly with partners and outfitters.
- High sense of urgency and responsiveness, including weekend monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- Experience with Meltwater.
- Creative mindset with proven ability to produce engaging content.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices.
- Flexible hours; open to full-time or part-time.
- Hybrid work arrangement with ability to be onsite in Plymouth, MN as needed.
- Weekend availability for monitoring and engagement.
