Dahl Consulting is currently partnering with a leader in the insurance industry. We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities.   • Worksite Location: Tampa, Florida (hybrid 2 -3 days onsite)
  • Salary Range: $100,000-120,000
  • Must have:
    • Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License - State of Florida 
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in Commercial Lines Insurance Brokerage

What you’ll do as the Account Executive | Commercial Lines Insurance:
  • Receive and develop new business leads from Producers
  • Identify and develop cross-sell opportunities
  • Complete applications, obtain quotes, negotiate premiums and commissions, and prepare proposals and presentations
  • Bind coverage, prepare binders, and delegate certificates
  • Review coverage, identify deficiencies, and determine the appropriate level of coverage
  • Review accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact clients on receivable collections
  • Collect fees, reconciliation, and resolution of any outstanding balances within 90 days of the invoicing date
  • Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enter and maintain complete and accurate information)

What you’ll bring to the Account Executive | Commercial Lines Insurance role:
  • Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience  
  • Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in commercial lines brokerage
  • Possess a valid Property and Casualty insurance license in the State of Florida and continue to meet requirements for renewal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Good problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
