Member Advisor Specialist Job Summary
The Member Advisor Specialist will promote appropriate company products and services while maintaining a friendly, helpful demeanor when working with Medicare members to ensure customer satisfaction by identifying their health plan and prescription needs and addressing or solving concerns.
What you’ll do as the Member Advisor Specialist:
- Promote appropriate company products and services while maintaining a friendly, helpful demeanor
- Ensure customer satisfaction by identifying their health plan and prescription needs
- Address and solve any customer concerns
- Execute member reviews for health, dental, vision and prescription coverage
- Accurately complete applications and other required documents
- Assist current members and prospects in person, over the phone, and through email to identify and resolve their needs
- Ensure confidentiality and control access to sensitive information
- Provide members with timely information
- Record customer interaction and data by recording notes in a database system
What you’ll bring to the Member Advisor Specialist role:
- Customer service background
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to input member’s data accurately and efficiently into a database system
- Ability to use resources effectively to find information to complete work independently
