- Worksite Location: Rockville, MD
- Compensation: $65,000-72,000 + annual bonus
This role is responsible for driving non-media lead generation and brand awareness locally through experiential marketing.
What you’ll do as the Events & Retail Manager:
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new team members
- In-field coaching
- Manage department calendar - includes negotiating with event sponsors and outside vendors to procure space for events
- Oversee participation in events, sponsorship, retail partnerships, and creation of lead-gen opportunities
- Expense and P&L management of Events and Showroom
- Collaborate with internal partners such as Sales, Inside Sales, Talent Acquisition, HR, and Finance
- Communicate results and strategy with management
- Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities
- Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in sales or marketing, planning events, or managing retail teams
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to think strategically, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to self-manage resources to achieve objectives
- Ability to analyze the effectiveness of events, sponsorships, and local programs
- Ability to understand the role of marketing communications, sales promotion, and advertising
- Demonstrated ability with MS Office suite
