Associate Account Manager - Personal Lines
Job Description
- Worksite Location: West Des Moines, IA
- Compensation: $23.56-$26.44 per hour
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through advising and responding to all correspondence in a quick and accurate mannerÂ
- Timely and accurately process policy changes, including mortgage changes, auto and property additions and deletions, address changes, and moreÂ
- Handle all cancellations with care, with adherence to E&O guidelines
- Answer questions regarding all lines of coverage and assist with plan and/or carrier changes, claims, and billingÂ
- Review current insurance programs offering the right coverage at a competitive price
- Evaluate and process client requests to ensure appropriate coverage is metÂ
- Resolve inquiries on service problems, billing, and claims to ensure client satisfaction
- Work collaboratively on a team to monitor and complete tasks in different workflows, including but not limited to shared email inboxes, phone ring groups, and the agency documentation system
- Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with partner insurance carriers
- Enter activity and other relevant documentation accurately into the company’s software system(s) in accordance with company proceduresÂ
- A combination of education and experience generally attained through a high school degree, bachelor's degree, and a minimum of 3 years customer service experienceÂ
- Willingness to obtain an insurance licenseÂ
- Demonstrated success in customer serviceÂ
- Excellent oral and written communication skillsÂ
- Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyÂ
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suiteÂ
