Peripheral Operator II (Sunday - Thursday, 3:30pm-12:00am)
Job Description
- Contract Duration:Â 3Â months
- Worksite Location:Â Norcross, GA (Onsite)
- Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 12:00am
- Compensation: $21.00 per hour
- Operate computer peripheral equipment such as printers, finishing, material handling, or mail processing machines, as well as infrastructure support equipment, under the guidance of more senior team members
- Perform basic troubleshooting and operator-level maintenance on peripheral machines to resolve jams or issues
- Prepare production control reports, following instructions from senior operators or supervisors
- Handle a variety of clerical tasks related to inventory control and outgoing product processing, using both automated and manual methods
- Interact with computer terminals or personal computers to queue work, post information, and respond to console messages
- Manually assemble documents, apply postage, or package products as required
- High school diploma or equivalentÂ
- 1+ years of experience in a data center or print center environment preferred
- Basic understanding of computer peripheral hardware or a willingness to learn
- Strong basic math skills for maintaining product controls
- Problem-solving skills to handle equipment jams and resolve production errors, including issues with document sequence, quality, or hardware delays
- Limited knowledge of product content is expected, but an understanding of organizational structure will develop over time
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with peers handling similar tasks, such as output finishing and hardware operation
- Clear verbal communication skills for interaction with lead operators, managers, and occasionally home office staff
- Competency in organizing and planning individual tasks to accomplish production goals
