Our client, a global leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking an Associate Operations Coordinator to join their growing team. Job Description
The Associate Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily freight and shipment operations. With a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and efficiency, this position ensures that customer and carrier needs are met in accordance with established policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key responsibilities include:
  • Executing core operational tasks such as providing shipment information, creating orders, activating shipments, building and assigning loads, scheduling appointments, tracking and tracing shipments, entering events, and invoicing.
  • Monitoring task boards and assigned email accounts to respond promptly to customer and carrier requests.
  • Documenting events accurately using knowledge gained through SOPs and experience, and following defined escalation procedures when necessary.
  • Following through on customer and carrier requests to ensure satisfaction, escalating questions or issues as needed.
  • Validating and ensuring the accuracy of load data in internal systems in accordance with client and customer standards.
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on team or regional requirements.
Training & Schedule
This position includes a five (5) week onsite training program:
  • Weeks 1–3: Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Weeks 4–5: Transition to assigned schedule while continuing to work onsite with leadership support and hands-on floor experience.
After the five-week training period, employees will move to a remote work arrangement, with a requirement to report onsite one (1) day per month or as needed.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.
  • Availability to complete the full five-week onsite training program on the specified schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Basic proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous customer service experience in a call center or similar high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Prior work experience that required strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment.
