- Worksite Location: Brooklyn, NY – hybrid
- Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 annually, depending on skills and experience
- Company Benefits: Health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions
The Account Executive is responsible for providing our Healthcare Practice and account managers across Commercial Lines Northeast with additional support in their daily account activity. This position will provide technical support in accordance with company operating procedures.
What you’ll do as the Account Executive:
- Provide support to Account managers across the region and ensure adherence to all internal Quality Control guidelines
- Check policy coverages and endorsements, as needed, on all new business and renewals for accuracy and adequacy of coverage
- Complete specs & applications, assist in preparing proposals, policy summaries and reviews
- Work with 3rd party vendor to order loss runs and create loss summaries
- Complete id cards, certificates of insurance, driver and vehicle schedules, schedule of values and other requests from clients or CL leaders
- Pursue a program of professional development
- Keep abreast of licensing requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in brokerage, consulting, or insurance company, depending on training and educational background
- P&C license in New York
- Selling skills helpful along with ability to make recommendations for cross selling
- Ability to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insurance
- Detail oriented with good mathematical and communication skills
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
