- Compensation: $63,000-95,000

What you will do as an Accountant:
- Prepare and record journal entries and perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information to resolves basic issues
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documentation
- Analyze financial statements and provide summary explanation of changes
- Maintain, perform, and update internal control procedures
- Work with external auditors and prepare audit reports
- Manage assigned elements of the budgeting process
- Manage assigned elements of regulatory compliance and state filing to ensure timely submissions
- Engage in department projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Willingness to work additional hours to meet deadlines or complete projects
- Proficient in the use of core systems, office and computer equipment, and software packages
- Previous insurance accounting experience is a plus
