Job Description

Location: Onsite - Mankato, MN
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000
What you will do as an Accounting Manager:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts
- Oversees the use of accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
- Review and analyze monthly Management reports, including P&L, balance sheet & cash flow
- Establish and enforce Internal Controls within the functions of the department
- Develop and track the company’s fixed assets, maintaining asset records and depreciation schedule
- Coordinate Financial Audits and Tax compliance with external CPA
- Participate in the Annual Planning process, setting strategic initiatives, and reporting on these monthly
- Maintain Business Insurance Policies, completing all applications and audits on time
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 1-2+ years of account management experience
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player that works effectively and efficiently in a collaborative Team environment
- Proficient in Office 365 & Microsoft Products, ERP knowledge helpful
- Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS Accounting standards and requirements
