As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for recording financial transactions, preparing reconciliations, and supporting key closing processes. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial documentation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to process improvements. This position also involves supporting audits and assisting with ad-hoc projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions through journal entries, including amortization, allocation, and accrual.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with company policy.
- Compile and maintain financial reports to ensure accurate tracking and expense distribution.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Perform fluctuation and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Contribute to process improvements and streamline accounting activities.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong initiative, professionalism, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience in a corporate accounting environment.
- Familiarity with financial reporting systems and audit processes.
