Job Description
As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices through matching, batching, coding, and data entry
- Verifying purchase approvals and resolving discrepancies with internal departments
- Communicating with vendors to address payment issues and reconcile statements
- Reviewing and processing monthly credit card transactions
- Ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support the finance team
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and internal interactions
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar financial role
