- Worksite Location: Mendota Heights, MN
- Compensation: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
What you’ll do as the Accounts Payable Clerk:
- Accurately enter and maintain financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents for accounts payable transactions
- Verify accuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments
- Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure proper documentation and filing
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing reports and assisting with audits
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed
What you’ll bring to the Accounts Payable Clerk role:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proficiency in data entry and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Prior experience in accounts payable or general accounting is a plus
