Accounts Payable Manager

Job Description
- Worksite Location: Minnetonka, MN
- Direct Hire: $65-75k plus bonus
The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function for a high-volume, fast-paced construction business. This includes overseeing the timely and accurate processing of invoices, as well as providing support for wire and ACH payments. The AP Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and policies, as well as maintaining strong relationships with vendors and other stakeholders. This role will also be responsible for managing construction specific payments, insurance payments, 1099 processing, and expense management.
What you’ll do as the Accounts Payable Manager:
- Manage the accounts’ payable function, including the timely and accurate processing of invoices
- Provide support for wire and ACH payments
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and policies
- Supervise and train AP team
- Manage construction specific payments, including lien waivers and retention payments
- Oversee 1099 processing and compliance
- Manage expense management and reimbursement process
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable management, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Experience with wire and ACH payments
- Proficient in using accounting software and Excel
