About the Role
Our firm is partnering with a well-established healthcare provider specializing in orthotic and prosthetic services to recruit an Office Administrator for their Plymouth-area clinic. This organization supports patients through customized medical solutions and values a welcoming, patient-centered environment. The Office Administrator plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations while providing excellent front-office support to patients and clinical staff.
Job Description
The Office Administrator is responsible for maintaining efficient administrative operations and creating a positive experience for patients and visitors. This role combines front-desk responsibilities, scheduling, inventory coordination, and general office support.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer, screen, and manage incoming phone calls
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate provider calendars
- Proactively contact patients to arrange or confirm appointments
- Learn and utilize patient management software systems
- Manage office email and text communications
- Order office and clinical supplies as needed
- Receive, organize, and properly store inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
- Provide occasional coverage at other nearby clinic locations as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Comfort learning and using new software systems
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Reliable transportation for occasional coverage at other clinic locations
- Prior experience in an administrative, front-office, or medical office role
- Familiarity with healthcare or patient-facing environments
