  • Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm, and Friday 8:00am- 12:00pm

Administrative Assistant Job Description
The Administrative Assistant will be present where needed and ready to work as needed to meet responsibilities. They will recognize when situations require more effort, put in more time if needed, satisfy responsibilities in a timely manner, provide an example of punctuality and attendance, and generally ensure all is ready and taken care of. This person will help create a productive and harmonious work environment, promote good morale, adequate communication, and cooperative teamwork.

What you’ll do as the Administrative Assistant:
  • Answer multi-line telephone system promptly and accurately
  • Cheerfully and positively greet clients on the telephone or in person
  • Assist clients when picking up tax returns and process tax organizers
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Manage supply inventory and ordering
  • Maintain the office equipment as fax machine, copy machine, and postage meter
  • Schedule appointments
What you’ll bring to the Administrative Assistant role:
  • Administrative Assistant Degree or Certification
  • Valid driver’s license and car insurance
  • Experience using a multi-phone system and ability to handle multiple calls at once
  • Working knowledge of computers and computer software including Microsoft Suite programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
  • Ability to work on a computer for long periods of time
  • Ability to occasionally kneel, bend over, or reach above head at times with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to travel as needed
