About the Role
Our firm is partnering with a global provider of commercial cleaning, sanitation, and service solutions to hire an Area Service Coordinator. This is a fully remote opportunity supporting field service operations. The role plays a critical part in ensuring timely, high-quality service delivery for customers in the food service and hospitality industries by coordinating and dispatching a large field technician workforce.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys driving operational excellence through collaboration, organization, and problem solving.
Job Description
The Area Service Coordinator serves as a centralized dispatch and coordination partner for a large team of field service technicians. Reporting to the Service Operations Supervisor or Manager, this role supports daily service execution by managing a high-volume dispatch queue and ensuring technician schedules are aligned with customer priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process high volumes of incoming service requests and assign service appointments
  • Dispatch service technicians efficiently to customer locations while prioritizing customer needs
  • Develop, manage, and adjust technician schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
  • Optimize technician availability, utilization, and accountability
  • Collaborate with area leadership to support customer retention, growth, and acquisition initiatives
  • Partner closely with field teams to resolve issues and improve operational effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate scheduling and service data using internal systems and tools

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–4 years of experience in customer service, call center, sales support, dispatch, or related roles (including relevant military experience)
  • Strong commitment to customer service and service excellence
  • Experience processing high-volume requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Microsoft Excel functions
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and a four-day workweek schedule
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. (immigration sponsorship is not available)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or trade school certification
  • Dispatching or route coordination experience
  • Experience organizing meetings or coordinating schedules
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Experience supporting field service teams
  • Industry experience in food service, hospitality, housekeeping, laundry services, or related environments
