About the Role
We are partnering with a large, Minnesota-based organization in the healthcare and health services industry to identify an Associate HR Project Manager to support a focused Human Resources initiative. This role will play a key part in developing, standardizing, and publishing job descriptions across the organization. The Associate HR Project Manager will manage the end-to-end process, from drafting initial job descriptions through coordination of reviews, approvals, and final publication, working closely with HR teams and business leaders.
Job Description
The Associate HR Project Manager supports a structured HR project focused on job architecture and documentation. This role ensures job descriptions are accurate, consistent, and accessible to employees and leaders across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Researching and developing initial draft job descriptions by synthesizing existing and historical job descriptions, current job postings, and other role-related resources, using established templates and guidance
- Collaborating with HR partners and leaders to confirm role details and refine job descriptions based on first-draft feedback
- Managing the job description review and approval process, including tracking timelines, deliverables, and approvals
- Providing clear and timely updates on project status, next steps, and outstanding actions to key stakeholders
- Ensuring approved job descriptions are finalized, organized, and published in designated systems or repositories
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, project coordination, or a related role
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Clear written communication and follow-up skills
- Project coordination and task management skills
- Experience with process tracking and documentation
- Ability to work with ambiguity and evolving requirements
- Professional writing and editing skills
- Strong stakeholder communication and follow-up abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Excel
- Experience supporting Human Resources projects or initiatives
- Experience drafting, editing, or maintaining job descriptions or similar documentation
- Experience coordinating reviews and approvals with multiple stakeholders
