Associate HR Specialist
Job Description
- Contract Duration: 6-months
- Worksite Location: Saint Paul, MN
The main function of the Human Resources Assistant is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions. As the Human Resources Assistant, you will act as the information and communication manager for the office.
What you’ll do as an Associate HR Specialist:
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work
- Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents
- File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports
- Manage the pest promotion process which recurs every two weeks using AS400 and Workday
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails
- Prepare responses to correspondence containing routing inquiries
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
- Ability to keep information organized and confidential
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable using Excel-spreadsheets
- Experience using AS400 and Workday
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5-7 years experience required
- Bachelors degree will be needed if the position were to become permanent
