- Worksite Location: Waite Park, MN
- Compensation: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
- Access and compile payroll reports and tax documentation from various payroll providers to support workers’ compensation audits, completing partner requests accurately, thoroughly, and within required timeframes
- Manage the full lifecycle of the audit process, from initial documentation support to final audit review, including tracking audit progress through defined audit stages
- Review completed audits for accuracy and completeness, identifying discrepancies and determining the cause of premium variances
- Engage in professional and, when necessary, de-escalation-oriented communication with partners who may be dissatisfied with audit outcomes
- Maintain organized and thorough audit documentation, including communication records, audit timelines, and internal notes to ensure clarity and audit trail integrity
- Process audit-related invoices and submit remittances to the appropriate carriers in accordance with company and carrier protocols
- Support premium invoicing for active workers’ compensation policies by reviewing payroll reports and generating accurate billing statements
- Monitor ongoing policies for red flags or inconsistencies, proactively addressing issues with clients or escalating to the appropriate internal teams
- 1-2+ years of financial analyst experience
- Basic computer literacy, including file management, secure login protocols, and navigation of cloud-based systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook
- Familiarity with Adobe tools (e.g., PDF editing and document handling)
- Working knowledge of workers’ compensation principles and audit processes (training provided)
- Adherence to confidentiality and data protection standards when handling sensitive payroll and tax documents
- Proficient use of internal systems for tracking, documentation, and communication
