About the Role
Our client, a global leader in food production and supply-chain innovation, is seeking a Back-end Developer to support a specialized GenAI discovery and prototyping team. This role focuses on building back-end services that connect internal data sources and large language models (LLMs) to emerging application prototypes. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with C# and hands-on knowledge of LLM integration in enterprise environments.

Job Description
In this role, you will support a GenAI discovery and prototyping team by building and maintaining back-end components that connect data sources and large language models (LLMs) to application prototypes. You will develop new features, improve performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional partners while contributing to high engineering standards through clean code and code reviews.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain back-end software applications and systems
Connect data sources and LLMs to GenAI-focused application prototypes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features
Upgrade existing software to improve functionality and performance
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code
Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team

Qualifications
Required

Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs)
Proficiency in C#
Ability to design, develop, and maintain back-end software systems
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement features
Skilled in troubleshooting, debugging, and improving application performance
Ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code

Preferred

Experience integrating LLMs with enterprise data sources or prototype applications
Background in AI-driven application development or rapid prototyping environments
Familiarity with reviewing code for quality, maintainability, and knowledge sharing
