They are seeking a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage and oversee all financial recordkeeping functions. Job Description
As the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting tasks and supporting strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Process payroll and handle related tax filings
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry
- Familiarity with payroll tax filings and regulatory compliance in multi-state operations
