What you will do as a Business Development Representative:  
  • Relationship Building, Networking and Teamwork:
    • Maintain trusted client relationships
    • Maximize the number of client referrals and manager leads from recruiting
    • Partner with the sales team to develop and present customer service plans
    • Develop a community presence by networking through strategic associations
    • Responsible for the sales team's continual development of existing accounts
    • Consult and coordinate with all recruiting and sales team members
    • Assist with the development of short and long-range growth plans for the sales team
    • Involve the sales team and management (as appropriate) to address issues/problems, program results, and client expansion/retention opportunities
  • Client Service Management and Order Fulfillment:
    • Take responsibility for client service management for all assigned clients and prospects
    • Understand both the hard and soft skills of job orders and the client's needs
    • Responsible for improving the efficiency and productivity of the recruiting team
    • Enter all client and prospective client files, including logging all events and messages in Bullhorn and other platforms as required
    • Maximize the use of DAHL's office technologies to ensure optimum, cost-effective, timely, and high-quality results
    • Enter accurate and required information into VMS platforms
    • Represent the client within the DAHL team
    • Ensure high-quality standards
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of economic trends and changes affecting local businesses
    • Stay abreast of changes in Federal, State, and local employment laws
    • Attend periodic training to maintain skills and develop new ones

What you will bring to the role as a Business Development Manager:  
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or any related field
  • 1+ years of sales or staffing experience preferably with one of the DAHL skillset specializations (IT, Business, Accounting & Finance, Creative/Marketing, Legal, etc.)
  • Excellent negotiation and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
