What you’ll do as the Patient Registration Supervisor:
- Supervise daily operations across hospital-wide patient registration areas to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality workflows
- Support revenue cycle and service excellence initiatives by aligning registration practices with organizational goals
- Manage a team of 15 union employees, including staffing, scheduling, and productivity oversight
- Monitor and manage EPIC work queues to ensure timely processing and follow-up
- Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and reference materials related to patient registration
- Prepare and analyze reports on performance indicators and operational processes
- Keep staff informed of regulatory or payer updates and ensure compliance across the team
- Foster talent development through effective onboarding, engagement, and retention strategies
What you’ll bring to the Patient Registration Supervisor role:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare preferred
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience within a healthcare setting
- Front-end Point of Service experience in a hospital or clinical environment
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced setting
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered service
