Patient Registration Manager
Job Description
Contract-to-Hire
Worksite Location:Â Robbinsdale, MNÂ
Compensation: $38 - $45 per hour depending on experienceÂ
What you’ll do as the Patient Registration Manager:
- Lead the Patient Registration Department, overseeing daily operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all registration processes
- Develop and implement operational and strategic plans that align with broader organizational goals
- Manage a team of 3 supervisors (each overseeing 15 union employees) and 4 Patient Financial Advocates (non-union)
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and support Total Quality Management initiatives across the department
- Collaborate with Information Services to integrate and streamline customer registration systems
- Represent the Revenue Cycle Services team on cross-functional projects and regulatory initiatives
- Monitor departmental performance and budget, leveraging data to inform decisions and improvements
- Act as a subject matter expert for registration procedures, supporting internal stakeholders and affiliated business units
What you’ll bring to the Patient Registration Manager role:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience managing teams, with proven success in hospital registration operations
- Strong understanding of medical insurance plans and their application to medical billing
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, organization, and Total Quality Management
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred
- Experience working in a union environment and familiarity with EPIC systems preferred
- Ability to foster collaboration, drive process improvements, and maintain compliance in a complex healthcare setting
