Business Unit FP&A Manager

Job Description
- Worksite Location: Boise, ID
- Compensation: Up to $150,000.00 per year
The Business Unit FP&A Manager will work with the Business Unit President to execute the strategy for the business. Â In this role, you will be responsible for developing the annual financial plan, updating the forecast, and preparing variance analysis. Â You will also be responsible for communicating results for the business unit to all levels of the organization. Â
What you’ll do as a Business Unit FP&A Manager:
- Responsible for all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the business unit being supported
- Communicate financial results for the business unit to stakeholders within the business unit as well as to Executive Leadership during monthly business reviews
- Monitor financial results and KPIs including leading indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and shifts within the business
- Submit reporting for the business unit and Senior Leadership to highlight performance versus budget/forecast, prior year, and trends over time
- Develop an annual plan and regular forecasts for the business unit which will include working with commercial and operational leaders to assess sales trends across products and channels
- Build financial support for new products/projects being contemplated within the business unit
- Develop bridges to explain variances between the plan and prior year financial results for the business unit
- Perform deep-dive assessments of both customers and products and develop recommendations based on findings
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics from a four-year college/university or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
- 5+ years of job-related experience
- Experience with financial planningÂ
- Understanding of the overall platform functionally, including ERP, CRM, PIM, and WMS
- Analytical mindset to organize stakeholder feedback, develop solutions, and prioritize improvement opportunities
- Ability to solve complex technical, managerial, or operational problemsÂ
- Ability to operate and manage significant activities and resources to produce and take responsibility for results
- Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders one on one, in groups of varying size, and across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated integrity, independent thinking, judgment, and respect for others
- Ability to travel periodically
