We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. This company is hiring a Buyer/Planner for a permanent position! Worksite Location: Boise, Idaho
Salary: $60,000-$65,000 annually

What you will do as the Buyer/Planner:

Coordinate all activities related to procurement of a commodity beginning with initial purchase through delivery
Assist in the setup of a constant stream of new products from the Product Development group
Contact department and/or initiator to clarify or complete information for proper purchasing specifications and processes
Evaluate each purchase minimums against vendor minimums; negotiates or suggests discontinuance of product
Assure that the commodity is delivered on-time, at the negotiated price and meets the quality standards of the company
Maintain timely control of purchase orders, revisions, advance shipping notices, and other documents to assure on-time delivery from supplier
Update import costs and maintain import spreadsheet and warranty spreadsheet for imports
Record and maintains cost savings spreadsheet

What you will bring to the Buyer/Planner role:

Associate’s degree one to two years of related experience
4+ years of experience in buying and planning
Must be proficient in the PO process
Must be comfortable working with multiple sites and supporting up to 4,000+ SKUs
