- Worksite Location:Â Edina, MN
- Analyze CAM reconciliations to ensure the billings comply with the lease
- Identify overcharges and negotiate and resolve payment disputes with landlords
- Negotiate claims to resolution in a positive fashion while upholding the company’s position
- Manage year-end reconciliation activity and inventory of open reconciliations
- Provide information and reporting to relevant parties (subsidiaries, legal, finance), including tracking savings
- Collaborate with the leasing team in highlighting risks embedded around CAM and recommend language to mitigate exposure
- Review projected expenses on new leases
- Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting, or equivalent knowledge and work experience
- 3+ years of related experience focusing on lease CAM reconciliation and lease review
- 3+ years of real estate accounting experience
- 3+ years of experience examining year-end common area management expenses on existing leases to validate compliance against lease agreements
- Project management experience
- Prior experience with detailed analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with lease management, lease interpretation, and compliance with contract audit experience
- Understanding of BOMA standards
- Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and other software and database applications
