Worksite Location: Edina, MN

What you will do as the CAM Auditor:

Analyze CAM reconciliations to ensure the billings comply with the lease
Identify overcharges and negotiate and resolve payment disputes with landlords
Negotiate claims to resolution in a positive fashion while upholding the company’s position
Manage year-end reconciliation activity and inventory of open reconciliations
Provide information and reporting to relevant parties (subsidiaries, legal, finance), including tracking savings
Collaborate with the leasing team in highlighting risks embedded around CAM and recommend language to mitigate exposure
Review projected expenses on new leases

What you’ll bring to the role as the CAM Auditor:

Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting, or equivalent knowledge and work experience
3+ years of related experience focusing on lease CAM reconciliation and lease review
3+ years of real estate accounting experience
3+ years of experience examining year-end common area management expenses on existing leases to validate compliance against lease agreements
Project management experience
Prior experience with detailed analysis and reporting
Familiarity with lease management, lease interpretation, and compliance with contract audit experience
Understanding of BOMA standards
Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and other software and database applications
