Worksite Location: Plymouth, MN

What you’ll do as the Carrier Sales Representative:

Negotiate customer and carrier rates
Manage load boards to match freight with carrier capacity
Manage and develop strategic relationships with carrier partners
Make decisions and prioritize ever-changing daily tasks
Hit KPI metrics set in place by management
Prepare quotes
Conduct calls with carriers to determine availability
Provide consistent and exceptional service levels to carriers and customers
Maintain and grow relationships with carrier accounts
Conduct carrier account reviews and identify opportunities for additional collaboration

What you’ll bring to the Carrier Sales Representative role:

1+ year of experience in freight brokerage, dispatch, carrier sales, or logistics
Ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships with carriers
Must enjoy the art of negotiating
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Must thrive in a fast-paced work environment and remain calm under pressure
Positive outlook, motivated, and open-minded
Ability to talk and write in a professional tone
