Contract Duration: 6-months
Worksite Location: Minnetonka, MN
Compensation: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

What you'll do as the Cash Application Analyst:

Run lockbox reports, post exceptions, manual checks, wire transfers, and ACH deposits
Process customer refund requests, research customer inquiries, and address collector inquiries regarding historical cash postings
Reconcile general ledger accounts related to cash applications
Research and ensure accurate cash application from customer payments
Perform daily offsets, write-offs, refunds, and reversals in line with policy and procedure
Interact with banks, merchant services, processors, and both internal and external customers daily
Process credit card transactions and payments accurately
Perform customer account reconciliations as needed
Reclassify non-AR and other miscellaneous receipts
Ensure unapplied and unidentified cash is followed up with collectors, the in-country finance team, and the bank to close before month-end
Complete month-end activities within the agreed-upon timelines
Identify process deviations or IT issues, collaborating with the IT team on ERP issues or system upgrades (Oracle & NetSuite)

What you'll bring to the Cash Application Analyst role:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting standards (GAAP)
Attention to detail and analytical thinking
Understanding of the cash application lifecycle workflow
Knowledge of general accounting procedures and general ledger accounts
Proficiency in data entry and management
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Salesforce, and Google Docs
Excellent written and oral communication skills
