About the Role
We are seeking a Category Management Contractor on behalf of our client, a leading organization in the food and consumer packaged goods industry. This role will support the North America Foodservice Category Advisory team during relay season.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. This position will play a critical role throughout the modular relay process by preparing back-end modular data, supporting process automation, and developing modular drawings that meet customer expectations.

This position will play a critical role throughout the modular relay process by preparing back-end modular data, supporting process automation, and developing modular drawings that meet customer expectations.
Job Description
- Create and draw modulars to support the Relay Process
- Prepare and manage back-end data used throughout the modular planning process
- Support automation and other processes associated with modular development
- Develop accurate modular drawings according to customer requirements and expectations
- Utilize space planning and category management systems to support modular execution
- Collaborate with internal team members and stakeholders throughout relay projects
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines during relay season
- Identify issues and apply a solution-oriented approach to resolving project challenges
- Adapt to changing requirements, priorities, and project needs
Qualifications
Required:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong proficiency with JDA/Blue Yonder Space Planning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong project and time management skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines
- Adaptability and resilience when working through ambiguity or changing priorities
- Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new processes and systems
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
- Previous Category Management experience within an advisory team
- Experience completing two or more Walmart Modular Relays
- Ability to take a lead role on future modular relay projects
- Experience with Cantactix, CKB, JDA/Space Planning, or similar modular drawing and space planning platforms
- Familiarity with related systems such as Engine, Nuqleous, or ShelfIQ
- Previous category management or modular planning experience within the foodservice or consumer packaged goods industry
