As a Field Compensation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of field operations weekly payroll and compensation-related tasks. This position will handle Field Compensation inquiries, recalculate pay and commissions, run reports, and use excel and IBM system to lookup invoices.

- Contract Duration: 6-months
- Worksite Location: Saint Paul, MN
- Hourly Rate: $20-21/hourÂ
As a Field Compensation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of field operations weekly payroll and compensation-related tasks. This position will handle Field Compensation inquiries, recalculate pay and commissions, run reports, and use excel and IBM system to lookup invoices.
What you’ll do as a Field Compensation Specialist:
- Accurately process field operations weekly payroll, including compensation recalculations, ensuring all payments are made on time and in compliance with company policies.
- Review inquiries received in the Generic team inbox from Field Associates related to pay transactions. Conduct research and respond promptly with resolution or further instructions.
- Process Commission Inquiries in the IBM-AS400 system, ensuring accuracy and completeness in commission calculations.
- Handle lost business adjustments and territory splits, making necessary adjustments to compensation records.
- Effectively communicate with field associates via email to address commission inquiries and provide necessary information.
- 2+ years of business/customer service experience, preferably in a payroll or compensation-related role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- IBM-AS400 experience, particularly in the context of payroll and compensation processing, is a plus.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve complex compensation issues.
