The main function of a Compliance Specialist is to plan, direct, and coordinate regulatory programs of an organization to maximize the strategic use of compliance and maintain functions. A typical Compliance Specialist is responsible for all internal and external changes associated with products or services to assure legal compliance with regulatory guidelines administers regular compliance audits and investigates/resolves complex compliance issues.

- Contract Duration: 6 months
- Worksite Location: Saint Paul, MN

A typical Compliance Specialist is responsible for all internal and external changes associated with products or services to assure legal compliance with regulatory guidelines administers regular compliance audits and investigates/resolves complex compliance issues.
What you’ll do as a Compliance Specialist:
- Develop and maintain an organized, methodical documentation system for communicating, implementing, and managing new and existing regulatory requirements
- Establish and administer a process for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating, and taking action on complaints concerning privacy policies and fraud concerns
- Organize and maintain files of contracts, records, and correspondence
- Assist in the development of contracts and procedures to ensure compliance
- Develop, implement, coordinate, and monitor a fraud and abuse compliance program
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experienceÂ
- 0-2+ years of customer service-related experienceÂ
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
- Knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices (i.e., equal employment opportunity and affirmative action)
- Knowledge of benefit and pay-scale systems
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
