Costing Analyst - Manufacturing
Job Description
- Worksite Location:Â Remote
- Contract Duration:Â 7 months
- Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
What you'll do as a Cost Analyst:Â
- Serve as the primary finance partner supporting supply chain activities, leading product costing for goods sold between organizations on a temporary or ongoing basis
- Collaborate closely with finance teams—including Controllers and FP&A—and operational stakeholders across manufacturing and non-production sites
- Lead product costing and pricing efforts related to Transition Agreements, including calculating costs for new SKUs, determining price adjustments, and reviewing transactions using Power BI
- Manage separation cost centers by overseeing headcount, expense eligibility, forecasting, and results reviews with department leaders and transformation teams
- Develop and enhance reporting tools to improve visibility into financial performance
- Act as a subject matter expert on separation agreement accounting within Global Supply Chain.
- Provide financial support for additional post-spin processes, such as cross-company R&D activities, factory experiments, and transition services costs, offering strategic insights and guidance to operational teams
What you’ll bring to the Cost Analyst role:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Proven experience in product costing and manufacturing finance, with a strong understanding of cost structures and operational impacts
- Experience supporting divestitures or spin-offs is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to build clear, actionable financial reports and forecasts
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across teams to drive accurate financial outcomes and strategic decisions
