About the Role
We are partnering with a global leader in water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions to find a Customer Service Representative for their King of Prussia, PA office. This organization supports industries including life sciences, bioprocessing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing, delivering critical products and services that help customers operate safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly engaged team supporting the Purifications, Bioprocessing, and API business lines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This role operates on a hybrid schedule, with three days per week onsite in King of Prussia, PA. The hybrid schedule begins after an initial training period of at least four weeks onsite.
Job Description
As the Customer Service Representative, you will partner with Commercial teams and serve as a key point of contact for customers, managing all aspects of customer service activities including order management, project management, and customer engagement. You will ensure a seamless customer experience while collaborating across supply chain (Operations, Production Quality, and Logistics), Finance, Marketing, and regulatory functions.
In this role, you will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve order-related issues, leveraging strong interpersonal skills and professional standards to ensure on-time product delivery in compliance with safety, quality standards, and scheduled performance targets. Success in this position requires a proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while balancing independent work with strong team collaboration.
What You Will Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating within established service levels to internal and external customers via email and phone.
- Manage orders through the entire life cycle, from order entry to invoice.
- Collaborate with key members of Sales, supply chain, finance, and regulatory/compliance teams to ensure order fulfillment.
- Arrange appropriate logistics when necessary, including shipping and tracking.
- Proactively mitigate customer service issues and escalate to the Customer Service Manager when appropriate.
- Handle high-volume email communications in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide exception management, such as ensuring credit issues are resolved.
- Work collaboratively with a team while also operating independently as a self-motivated, proactive problem solver.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, OR a high school diploma with 2 years of robust customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and document organization skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and proactive mindset
- Ability to work onsite in King of Prussia, PA on a hybrid schedule (3 days per week) following the initial training period
- Background in science (chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field)
- Understanding of chemistry or other sciences
- Experience with SAP, EBS, or other ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills
