Worksite Location: Plymouth, MN
Contract: 12 weeks

What you’ll do as the Customer Service Representative:

Maintain good customer relations, including building sustainable trust through open and interactive communication
Assist outside sales representatives primarily via email and secondarily via phone with scheduling, order status, expedited requests, shipping information, freight issues, or other matters
Work with operations and internal sales on order and shipping expedited requests
Provide documentation, including invoices and receipts, as requested by stakeholders
Follow up with purchasing on purchase requisitions for drop ship orders.
Advise outside sales representatives on the rework status of returned items
Keep records of customer interactions, processing customers’ accounts, and filing documents
Handle internal and external credit requests for product returns
Assist with customer customer-supplied product-receiving process
Direct customers with questions or other issues to the correct department
Handle customer’s inquiries and complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within an appropriate time frame; following up to ensure resolution
Process no-charge warranty issues or sales concessions for replacement components or products that are missing
Identify and recommend internal improvement opportunities

What you’ll bring to the Customer Service Representative role:

Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
2+ years working in a corporate environment preferred
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
Ability to learn software systems, sales processes, and product lines
Customer service orientated and a willingness to help others
Strong phone and email communication skills, including active listening and professionalism
Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and reach with or without reasonable accommodations
