- Worksite Location: St. Paul, MN
- Compensation: $85,000-$105,000 per year
What you’ll do as a Data Engineer role:
- Design and develop a series of processes to move patient test data through multiple environments where it will be analyzed by machine learning algorithms to assess whether cancer is present
- Design and develop processes to integrate final machine learning results into laboratory information systems where it can ultimately be shared with doctors and patients
- Ensure all processes are developed in a manner such that they can be easily installed and executed at new locations as our business expands and we add additional laboratories
- Provide support to all locations where these processes are installed
What you’ll bring to the Data Engineer role:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of industry experience developing data processing solutions
- Experience with Python, Linux, SQL, and GitHub
- Experience using an environment for developing, scheduling, and monitoring batch-oriented workflows
- Machine learning operations (MLOps) experience specializing in image recognition is preferred
- Experience with Apache Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or other batch workflow environments including installation and maintenance is preferred
