About the Role
Our firm is partnering with a well-established organization operating in the insurance and financial services space to support a critical system transformation initiative. This organization services a high volume of sales and client activity and is currently implementing a new Salesforce platform to modernize its operations. We are seeking a Data Entry Processor to assist with data intake, case review, and assignment as part of this implementation. This is a temporary role with a strong possibility of extension based on business needs and project progression.
Job Description
The Data Entry Processor will support the intake team by reviewing incoming cases, ensuring accurate data entry, and routing cases appropriately within the new Salesforce environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to manage a high daily workload while maintaining accuracy.

Key Responsibilities Contracting & Intake
  • Prepare new contracting requests for carrier submission
  • Log contracts received via email, fax, mail, and online contracting platforms
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Redirect contracts and documents when not applicable to contracting
  • Assign contracts and supporting documents using the Associate workflow chart
  • Communicate issues or discrepancies to the supervisor for review
  • Maintain a lower level of communication with agents and internal marketers compared to Contracting Associate II
Certifications, Licensing & E&O Updates
  • Send follow-up emails to agents requesting updated Errors & Omissions (E&O) documentation
  • Research NIPR and other databases to obtain updated license information
  • Upload state licenses, E&O certificates, and Continuing Education documentation to Agent Docs
  • Forward updated licensing and compliance documents to applicable carriers as needed
  • Process license expiration reports and other compliance-related carrier reports

Status Processing & Carrier Follow-Up
  • Send follow-up communications to carriers via email and phone
  • Manage periods of high call volume effectively
  • Reconcile carrier files within defined guidelines (e.g., certification, hierarchy, license expiration, readiness)
  • Follow up with carriers for writing numbers and appointment dates
  • Update agent writing numbers and appointment dates in Contact Manager upon confirmation
  • Process welcome letters, carrier reports, and carrier website updates
  • Process termination and declination letters and reports

Demographic & Data Maintenance
  • Process demographic updates for agents or agencies
  • Update address, phone, fax, and email information accurately in systems

Special Projects & Additional Duties
  • Collaborate with team members to support the mission and values of Senior Market Sales
  • Participate in internal and external committees as assigned
  • Assist with special projects and assignments requested by management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Prior data entry experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Reliability and availability to work full-time CST hours
  • Comfort working with case-based or ticketing systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Salesforce or CRM implementations
  • Background working in insurance, financial services, or sales support environments
  • Experience collaborating with intake, operations, or administrative teams
