Contract Duration: 9 months
Worksite Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Compensation: $56.00-$90.00 per hour, W2 (Benefits Available)

What you’ll do as the Development Engineer:

Develop and test code to deliver functionality that aligns with business strategies and objectives
Build and implement features from the product backlog
Size and estimate user stories
Unit test code, create automated test scripts, and perform all necessary testing tasks
Test deliverables against user story acceptance criteria
Execute project documentation
Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure features meet business needs
Follow agile software design methodologies for development and documentation
Work with infrastructure, security, and other partners to ensure project success

What you’ll bring to the Development Engineer role:

3-5+ years in an engineering role
1-3+ years of experience in agile development
Scrum certification (a plus)
Experience with test-driven development and software test automation
In-depth experience in agile environments (user stories, iterative development, etc.)
CA7 Scheduler
COBOL Batch
System analysis experience
Extensive experience with mainframe technologies (Cobol, DB2, JCL, CICS, VSAM, GDG files)
