Digital Technical Analyst
Job Description
- Contract Duration: 7-months | Contract-to-Hire
- Worksite Location: Minnetonka, MN | Hybrid
- Compensation: $77,000-$90,000 annually
What you will do as a Digital Technical Analyst:
- Gather, document, and analyze technical requirements in partnership with digital product owners for a portal and mobile app re-platforming initiative
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business needs into user stories, technical specs, and acceptance criteria
- Evaluate current platform architecture and identify opportunities to improve scalability, performance, and security
- Lead efforts to document current-state processes and recommend enhancements to support a successful re-platforming of key member-facing functionalities
- Ensure seamless integration of features such as benefit access, claims viewing, and payments into the new platform
- Act as a liaison across product, design, engineering, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions and timelines
- Assess technical feasibility of new features and assist with testing, validation, and issue resolution
- Identify technical dependencies and limitations early in the development process to mitigate risks
- Define test cases and participate in quality assurance to ensure features meet both technical and functional requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation such as process flows, use cases, and integration guides
What you will bring to the Digital Technical Analyst role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years of professional experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a Technical Analyst, Product Owner, or related role focused on digital products
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and design
- Strong technical knowledge of digital platforms, APIs, and system integrations
- Background in large-scale system re-platforming, migrations, or legacy modernization projects
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and digital product development cycles
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles is a plus
