Director of Finance Job Summary:
As a Director of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the finance, accounting, reporting activities for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Director of Finance Job Summary:
As a Director of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the finance, accounting, reporting activities for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will also support the daily operations of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, financial reports, complex client invoices and following up with client related accounting questions.
What you will do as the Director of Finance:
- Provide leadership, direction, guidance and motivation to the team and maintain positive team relations
- Monitor and adjust workloads; delegate new projects
- Validate and monitor team performance providing feedback and positive corrective action
- Develop and maintain internal processes focused on continuous improvement
- Ensure distribution of timely and accurate financial reports and revenue details
- Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis
- Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts
- Perform account analysis and general ledger reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Participate in quarterly business review and present financial reports
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for efficiencies
- Point of contact for internal and external audits
- Review and approve RFF for client projects
What you will bring to the Director of Finance role:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of recent controller and revenue experience
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects by prioritizing and managing time, and change direction quickly to accommodate changing business needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Background in Net Suite or relevant accounting software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
- Previous team management experience required
- Willingness to travel when needed
