- Contract Duration: 4 Months
- Worksite Location: Remotely working from an approved state: Â AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OK, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI.
Document Production Specialist Job Summary:
The Document Production Specialist is responsible for efficient, accurate and timely production of health insurance member-facing contract documents including drafting, formatting, proofreading, and identifying corrections needed during development and post-production.
What you’ll do as a Document Production Specialist:
- Complete the release of final documents to the print vendor for hard copies and to the web team to enable member online access.
- Consult with internal departments and vendors to develop and produce documents that are responsive to customer needs, as well as compliant with business, state and federal regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements and work through product issues to resolution.
- Provide thorough and effective communication on production statuses and issues to the relevant parties.Â
What you’ll bring to the Document Production Specialist role:
- Bachelor's degree majoring in Marketing, Business Administration/Analysis, or English preferred, or equivalent experience in related field.
- 3 years of related work experience beyond degree, preferably in health insurance industry.
- Understanding of Health Plan Benefits (co-pay, deductible, and member/health plan documents).
- Experience in proofing/editing/auding documents, product, design and implementation of healthcare products within a healthcare/managed care organization.
- Detailed knowledge of health insurance and managed care products, benefit design and member/employer documents.
- Proven ability to partner with internal departments and vendors to achieve quality results.
- Manage the effects of and complying with regulatory, financial, compliance, and legal changes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior attention to detail and proof-reading skills.
- Strong drive for results and accountability.
- Must demonstrates a high degree of initiative and be a self-starter.
- Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
