- Worksite Location: Remote
- Contract Duration: 12 months
What you'll do as the Document Production Specialist:
- Efficient, accurate and timely production of health insurance member-facing documents including drafting, formatting, proofreading, and identifying corrections needed during development and postproduction
- Release of the final documents to the print vendor for hard copies and to the web team to enable member online access
- Consult with internal departments and vendors to develop and produce government programs and other lines of business documents that are responsive to customer needs, as well as compliant with business, state and federal regulatory, and compliance requirements
- Contribute to process improvements and is expected to work through product issues to resolution
- Thorough and effective communication on production statuses and issues is required
Here is what you’ll bring to the Document Production Specialist role:
- Bachelor's degree majoring in Marketing, Business Administration/Analysis, or English preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field
- 3-5+ years of related work experience beyond degree, preferably in the health insurance industry
- Complete working knowledge and skill with the ability to be fully proficient in a professional field
- Experience in the HMO or insurance industry, with Medicare, Medical Assistance (Medicaid) and/or Dual experience
- Strong written, verbal, and editing skills are required, and auditing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Professional required, Excel experience
- Strong ability to develop a hands-on understanding of a multiple variety of software applications
- Highly organized with ability to use multiple resources to complete tasks
- Business analysis experience
- Experience working with Product, Compliance, and/or Legal colleagues
- Project management experience using a scientific approach to problem solving
- Process documentation software experience
